First-Class Maiduguri Graduate Seeks Work After Fish Business Collapses
I am a Maiduguri graduate with a first-class ND in Industrial and Labour Relations and a BSc in International Relations. I completed national service, but I have been unable to secure formal employment since 2019 despite my qualifications. As the only son in my family, I turned to the dried-fish business to survive. That business has also suffered because access to fish supplies around the Baga and Doron Baga axis has become difficult due to insecurity. Many young people are struggling to build a future through low-paying informal work or dangerous migration routes. I am ready for any legitimate opportunity, including administrative work, teaching, humanitarian work, fish farming, or office support roles.
