When Spiritual Knowledge Does Not Change Our Lives
Knowing teachings about sexual purity is not the same as living them. We may study scripture, attend retreats and advise others, yet still struggle privately with the same behaviours. Knowledge can become a source of pride if it keeps us from seeking help. Lasting change requires more than information. It calls for an honest relationship with God, supportive accountability and spiritual practices that shape daily choices. We should examine whether our understanding is growing while our conduct remains unchanged. The goal is not merely to know what is right, but to allow God’s truth to transform how we live.
