The Nigerian Communications Commission has signed a 15-year lease agreement with the Enugu State Government for its Digital Industrial Park and Learning Centre in Enugu. The state plans to convert the facilities into the Enugu Talent City and an Artificial Intelligence Institute. The project is expected to support digital skills training, startup incubation, research, outsourcing and technology-based businesses. NCC Chief Executive Officer Aminu Maida said the partnership would help young people gain relevant skills and enable entrepreneurs to turn ideas into viable businesses. Governor Peter Mbah said the state also intends to develop the Digital Bridge Institute into a world-class AI centre and position Enugu as an AI certification hub.
