Sokoto Cleric Survives Mosque Stabbing as Worshippers Kill Suspect

Witnesses said the suspected attacker, identified locally as Mai Barewa, was overpowered and beaten to death by worshippers before security operatives could intervene. Police said the cleric is receiving treatment at the Specialist Hospital, Sokoto, and is in stable condition.
