Akanji Warns Inter Against Slow Start in AC Milan Derby
Manuel Akanji says Inter Milan cannot afford to concede easy goals when they face city rivals AC Milan in Saturday’s Derby della Madonnina. Inter are unbeaten and level on points with Lazio at the top of Serie A, but they have repeatedly fallen behind before recovering. The team have earned 13 points from losing positions this season. Akanji said Inter must cut out costly mistakes against stronger opponents. Milan, who lost 4-2 to Bologna in midweek, will be seeking a response and are unbeaten in their last seven derby meetings with Inter.
