Kennedy Boboye to Lead Edo Queens at 2026 WAFU B Champions League

Kennedy Boboye will lead Edo Queens at the 2026 WAFU B Women’s Champions League in Burkina Faso, standing in for head coach Moses Aduku. Aduku is away with Nigeria’s Falconets for the 2026 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup in Poland. Edo Queens have been drawn in Group B with ASEC Mimosas of Côte d’Ivoire, Ghana’s Ampem Darkoa and AS Garde of Niger. The Nigerian champions are seeking a second WAFU B title after winning the competition on their debut two years ago. The tournament, which runs from 23 August to 5 September, also serves as a qualifier for the CAF Women’s Champions League.
