Finding Strength in God’s Names During Temptation

God’s names reveal His character and can guide our prayers in difficult moments. Proverbs 18:10 describes the name of the Lord as a strong tower where the righteous find safety. When strength is needed, pray to El Shaddai, God Almighty. When you feel unseen, remember El Roi, the God who sees you. Jehovah Nissi points to God as our banner and protector, while Jehovah Rapha reminds us of His healing and restoration. These names are not magic words. They are a way to pray with faith and a deeper understanding of who God is. Learn the names that speak to your personal struggles and call on God for help when temptation comes. I acknowledge that sex is sacred and designed by God for divine purposes. By His grace, I will honour and uphold its sanctity. In Jesus’ name, amen.
