UNIZIK Feeds More Than 5,000 Hostel Students During Second-Semester Exams
Nnamdi Azikiwe University’s Student Affairs Unit has provided meals to more than 5,000 students in six campus hostels through its No Scholar Left Hungry initiative. The programme was held on 22 August 2026 to support students during the ongoing second-semester examinations. Beneficiaries were drawn from the Stella Okoli, Dora Akunyili, Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu, Basil Oli, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala and Oby Ezekwesili hostels. Student Affairs officials said the initiative was intended to ensure that hostel residents do not go hungry during exams. The committee also said it hopes to address other welfare concerns, including water supply, lighting, drainage clearance and ceiling fans in the hostels.
