Nigeria’s D’Tigress ended the group stage without a win after losing 111–56 to France. The result was their third straight defeat, following losses to South Korea and Hungary. France dominated from the start, leading 65–26 at half-time and setting a World Cup record with 22 three-pointers. Nigeria scored 13 points in each of the first three quarters before adding 17 in the final period. Gabby Williams led France with 25 points, while Grace Efosa-Aguebor scored 15 points for Nigeria. France advanced to the quarter-finals as group winners.
