Super Falcons forward Gift Monday has joined Boston Legacy FC from Washington Spirit in a permanent transfer reportedly worth $500,000. The 24-year-old striker made 48 regular-season appearances for Washington Spirit, scoring 12 goals and providing three assists. She also set an NWSL record in September 2025 with the fastest hat-trick from kick-off, scoring three times in 35 minutes and 52 seconds against Houston Dash. Monday began her professional career with FC Robo and COD United Amazons before moving to Spain with UD Tenerife. The Nigeria international, who featured at the 2023 Women’s World Cup, said she is excited to begin a new challenge with Boston Legacy FC.
