Nigeria Now Holds Africa’s Largest Private Jet Fleet, Says Aviation Minister
The Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development announced that Nigeria has overtaken all African countries to boast the biggest private jet fleet on the continent. He made the revelation during a strategic engagement in Montréal with leading aircraft manufacturers, including Boeing, Airbus, Embraer and Bombardier. The talks aimed to improve access to modern aircraft, financing and technical support for Nigerian operators. The Federal Government plans to leverage this market strength to modernise airline fleets, raise safety standards, enhance operational efficiency and ensure sustainable growth in the aviation sector.
