Exploring Enugu: Is It Really the Cleanest City in Igbo Land?
I recently took a trip to Enugu to see firsthand why people call it one of the cleanest and most organized cities in the South-East. From the moment I arrived, I was struck by the calm streets and well-maintained roads. As I wandered through different neighborhoods, the traffic felt much less chaotic than in other major Nigerian cities. The atmosphere was relaxed, and it was easy to appreciate how orderly many parts of Enugu appear. I also noticed the vibrant business culture across Igbo land. On nearly every street, traders and small business owners were busy selling goods. My journey took me through Onitsha and Owerri too, where the commercial activity was truly impressive. I recorded a short video capturing my first impressions of Enugu. For those who have visited before, what was your experience like? Do you think Enugu deserves its reputation as the cleanest city in the South-East?
