Arthur Okonkwo Named Nigerian Player of the Week After Eight-Save Charlton Debut
Arthur Okonkwo has been named Nigerian Player of the Week after an impressive debut for Charlton Athletic. The Super Eagles goalkeeper made eight saves as Charlton secured a notable away win over West Ham United. Okonkwo edged Victor Osimhen, who scored twice and added an assist for Galatasaray. Osimhen also moved up to third on Galatasaray's all-time list of foreign scorers. Semi Ajayi scored for Hull City against Manchester United, while Samuel Chukwueze earned Man of the Match for AC Milan after helping to create the winner against Torino. Okonkwo's decisive saves, however, earned him the weekly honour.
