Ondo Police Rescue Kidnap Victim in Isua-Akoko, Arrest Injured Abductor
A suspected kidnapper was arrested in Isua-Akoko after police rescued an abducted man. The operation followed a report that two young men went to rear cattle at Ipesi Akoko and only one returned. DSP Abayomi Jimoh said the victim was seized at night by three assailants but managed to fight back and inflict a head injury on one of them. Officers used this clue to track a man with a fresh head wound at Obasanjo Motor Park and arrested him on credible intelligence. The victim is receiving medical care while the suspect has been transferred to the Anti-Kidnapping Unit for further investigation.
