IHRAM Shortlists 15 Entries for African Refugee Voices Essay Challenge

The African chapter of the International Human Rights Art Movement has shortlisted 15 entries for its inaugural African Human Rights Refugee Voices Essay Writing Challenge. The pan-African competition invites writers to examine forced displacement, refugee rights, resilience, justice and hope. The shortlisted essays address issues including internal displacement in Northern Nigeria, refugee education and healthcare, gender-based challenges, and the experiences of displaced girls. IHRAM said the entries showed strong research, originality and compassion in addressing Africa’s refugee crisis. The final winners will be announced after the last stage of adjudication.
