Unilag Graduate Challenges Osun State Government Over Unprofessional Invitation

Unilag Graduate Challenges Osun State Government Over Unprofessional Invitation

Isreal Folajumi Sediu Jnr, a recent University of Lagos graduate and best graduating student in his department and faculty, has called out the Osun State Government. This comes after the Osun State CID petitioned him, allegedly in an unprofessional manner. In a Facebook post, Folajimi expressed concerns about the legitimacy of the invitation. "Dear Osun State Government, "I have been informed that you are interested in the case, and that I have been petitioned at the Osun State CID of the Osun State Police Command. Unfortunately, the Police Command has displayed a high level of unprofessionalism in considering my claims against Prof. Clement Adebooye, Vice-chancellor, Osun State University, Osogbo, Nigeria". "When inviting someone to appear, it is important to send a proper police invitation letter written on official letterhead and signed by an authorized officer. I question the validity of the invitation, and I am hesitant to travel from Lagos to Osun without an official invitation." "Considering the security concerns in Nigeria, I would appreciate a formal invitation to ensure my safety and confirm the legitimacy of the request." "Israel Folajumi Sefiu Jr." "CC: Nigeria Police Force @highlight" He stated that the police should have sent an official letter on letterhead, signed by an authorized officer. Given Nigeria's security concerns, Folajimi requested a formal invitation to ensure his safety.
