Midnight Raid: Bandits Abduct Dozens, Kill One in Kwara’s Isin and Ifelodun

Bandits launched coordinated attacks around 10pm on communities in Isin and Ifelodun Local Government Areas of Kwara State. They struck Gaa-Oke Abba and Gaa-Alla in Isin, and Famole in Ifelodun. Armed men kidnapped at least two residents in Gaa-Alla. The number taken in Gaa-Oke Abba is still being confirmed. In Famole, residents fought back, leading to a gun battle in which one person was killed. The assaults have heightened fears among Kwara North communities. Many residents are now on edge as kidnappings and violent raids rise across the region.
