My Light-Bulb Moment: Returning to School After NYSC
I have always loved education and hoped to pursue further studies immediately after my first degree. I applied for several local and national scholarships, but none came through. After NYSC, I got a job and survival became my priority. My plans for a master’s degree faded as I moved around and tried to find my footing. This year, I returned to Allah with renewed faith and began considering school again. In August, I visited the University of Abuja, made enquiries and applied for a course I was qualified for. A few days later, I checked my dashboard after Maghrib and discovered that I had been admitted. I was overwhelmed with gratitude. Alhamdulillah.
