Remo Stars Coach Says Creative Championship Is Building Nigeria’s Next Football Stars
Remo Stars coach Olumide Ajibolade says the high standard of the Creative Championship (TCC) is helping young Nigerian players develop the consistency and intensity needed for elite football. Ahead of its expanded 2026/27 season, organisers say the academy league has produced more than 100 international transfers across Europe, Asia, Africa and North America. Players from academies including Beyond Limits, Real Sapphire, Sporting Lagos FA, Dannaz and Dino Sporting Club have secured moves abroad. The seventh TCC season will feature 14 teams after the addition of D’Shack Football Academy and Gaiters FC. Organisers also plan improved digital fan experiences, stronger development pathways and future U-13 and U-15 competitions as they target expansion beyond Lagos and Ogun States.
