Living the Crucified Life Daily

Galatians 2:20 teaches that believers have been crucified with Christ. Through faith, the old life shaped by pride, offence and selfish desires is replaced by a new identity in Christ. This identity must be embraced daily. Paul spoke of dying daily, while Jesus called His followers to deny themselves and take up their cross each day. Living this way brings freedom from the pressure to prove oneself. Our worth is no longer based on performance, ego or reputation, but on Christ, who loved us and gave Himself for us.
