Miss Universe Jamaica Gabrielle Henry has been discharged from the hospital four months after her fall during last year’s Miss Universe pageant in Thailand. Pageant organizers confirmed that Henry suffered a fracture and intracranial hemorrhage when she slipped off the stage during the preliminary evening gown round. She has since been under close medical supervision and is now recovering with support from her medical team. Her legal representatives say the injuries have postponed her work as an ophthalmology resident. Organizers add that she has not yet returned to official pageant appearances or interviews as she continues her recovery.
