Galatasaray Doctor Gives Cautious Update on Osimhen’s Return Against Kasımpaşa
Galatasaray’s medical team says Victor Osimhen is recovering well but has not yet been cleared to return against Kasımpaşa. The Super Eagles striker has missed Galatasaray’s last three matches after sustaining a Grade 2 muscle injury and significant bleeding during the win over İstanbul Başakşehir. The injury also kept him out of Nigeria’s AFCON qualifying matches against Madagascar and Guinea-Bissau. Club doctor Yener İnce said the hematoma has been drained and Osimhen has joined parts of team training. However, Galatasaray will assess him daily and will not rush him back until tests show he is ready. İnce also dismissed speculation over Osimhen’s earlier absence from full training, explaining that the forward had an upper respiratory infection after returning from Nigeria and trained separately for two days.
