Ebonyi Terminates Delayed 2km Rural Road Contracts Across Three Zones

The Ebonyi State Government has terminated all ongoing 2km rural road projects across the state’s three senatorial zones over delays and slow progress. The Commissioner for Special Projects said the projects had exceeded their completion timelines. She noted that the roads were intended to help rural farmers move produce to urban markets more easily. Contractors handling other state projects have also been warned to meet agreed deadlines or risk having their contracts terminated.
