Three Brothers Remanded for Murder of Mother’s Boyfriend in Eswatini
Three brothers appeared before the Mbabane Magistrates Court on charges of killing their mother’s partner. Mlondi Mbuli, 25; Sakhelwe Mbuli, 18; and Lindani Mdziniso, 23, all from Hholoshini in the Hhohho Region, are accused of assaulting Njabulo Ngwenya on June 28, 2026. Court documents state the brothers allegedly attacked Ngwenya with bricks, stones, sticks and bare hands after accusing him of an affair with their mother. They were remanded in custody until July 10, 2026, when they will face a High Court committal hearing. The case has attracted widespread local media coverage in Eswatini. No further statements have been issued by police beyond the initial court proceedings.
