Spain Coach David Aznar Targets Winning Start Against Nigeria’s Falconets
Spain coach David Aznar says his side will pursue victory when they face Nigeria’s Falconets in their opening Group F match at the 2026 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup. The 2018 champions begin their campaign at Stadion Sosnowiec on Monday, with kick-off scheduled for 5pm Nigerian time. Spain’s squad includes several players who featured at the 2024 and 2025 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cups. Aznar said Spain are approaching the tournament with ambition but will take it one match at a time. The Falconets are also seeking a strong opening result in the group.
