Islamic State Claims Deadly Attack in Adamawa Community, 29 Killed

Witnesses say the attackers opened fire at a football pitch where youths were gathered on April 26, then burned homes and places of worship during the prolonged assault. The state governor visited the scene, calling the attack “an affront to our humanity” and pledging support for the grieving community.
