I argue that the forbidden fruit in Genesis was about eating from a tree, not about sex. The passage repeatedly describes trees, fruit and eating, while God had already told the first couple to be fruitful and multiply. Eve ate the fruit and gave some to Adam, who also ate it. Based on the wording and context of the story, I see no reference to sex in the forbidden-fruit episode.
