UNIZIK Launches Digital Clearance and Certificate System to Reduce Graduation Delays

Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, has introduced digital clearance, certificate and transcript systems aimed at reducing delays for graduating students and alumni. The Vice-Chancellor said students will be able to complete clearance remotely and receive approval within five days. After clearance, the system will automatically generate a downloadable provisional certificate. Each certificate will carry a barcode that employers and other institutions can scan to verify its authenticity. The university also plans to improve lecture halls and other learning facilities through support from alumni and partners.
