I’m in a bind. Three weeks ago a friend I hadn’t seen in years asked to stay for one week because of a landlord issue. I agreed, but he’s still here. He spends his days on his phone, sleeping and eating my food. My supply meant to last two months is gone in two weeks. He’s also using my toiletries, hair cream and body cream. He won’t discuss plans or a departure date and only mentions some vague online business. I need my home and my resources back without damaging our friendship. How can I ask him to leave politely?
