Who Will Lead Northern Nigerians in the Fight Against Insecurity?
Northern communities have endured decades of terrorism, banditry and kidnappings. Thousands have been killed, displaced or forced to live in fear, yet few influential voices have organised sustained protests or demanded urgent action. Activists like Sowore and VeryDarkMan deserve credit for speaking out at personal risk. But public attention often shifts to celebrity gossip or international issues while local people suffer without consistent pressure on authorities. The time has come for Northerners to unite beyond ethnic or political lines. Only a mass movement demanding peace, justice and accountable leadership can end insecurity and build a safer future.
