Okoya Family Says Fatai Is Third Child and Received Four Lagos Flats

The family of billionaire industrialist Razaq Okoya has rejected Fatai Okoya’s claim that he is Mr Okoya’s first child. It said Fatai is the industrialist’s third child. In a statement issued by Eleganza Industries, the family said Fatai had received substantial support from his father, including four flats in Surulere, Lagos, and financial assistance for medical bills. It also said their disagreement began long before Mr Okoya married Shade Okoya. The family denied claims that Shade Okoya prevented Fatai from meeting his father during his 86th birthday medical outreach. It said Fatai was advised that the event was not the right place to discuss the family dispute and left after agreeing. The family urged Fatai and the public to handle the matter privately rather than through the media or social platforms.
