At 31, I finally moved out of my parents’ house, but the cost of living alone has hit me hard. As a musician, I struggled to find an apartment that suited my public image and was still within my budget. I started selling my clothing brand on the streets around Ijebu Ode Stadium to raise some income and keep hope alive. I later moved to Ajah to pursue better opportunities. I paid ₦200,000 for one month in a furnished serviced apartment, but I am now in debt. I am trusting God to help me get through this period.
