NECO Registrar Elected AEAA Vice-President as Nigeria Secures 2027 Conference

NECO Registrar and Chief Executive, Prof. Dantani Wushishi, has been elected Vice-President of the Association for Educational Assessment in Africa (AEAA). Nigeria also secured the right to host the association’s 2027 conference in Abuja from August 16 to 20. The decisions were endorsed at the AEAA’s 42nd conference in Arusha, Tanzania. NECO said the developments recognise Nigeria’s growing role in educational assessment, including digital examination reforms and the use of emerging technologies. The council added that its examinations are now conducted in eight countries outside Nigeria.
