NNPC Reports ₦535bn June Profit as Revenue Reaches ₦4.39tn

NNPC Ltd. reported a profit after tax of ₦535 billion for June 2026, up 15.8% from the ₦462 billion recorded in May. The company said monthly revenue reached ₦4.389 trillion, while statutory remittances to the Federation from January to June rose to ₦6.286 trillion. Crude oil and condensate production dipped slightly to 1.72 million barrels per day from 1.73 million barrels per day in May. NNPC linked the decline to operational disruptions, facility integrity issues and subsurface challenges across some assets. Gas output improved by 0.86% to 7.841 million standard cubic feet per day. The OB3 Gas Pipeline is 98% complete and expected to begin supplying gas in August, while the AKK Gas Pipeline is 94% complete, with gas delivery to Abuja projected later this year.
