Part 2: The Man Who Looked Exactly Like Daniel

I did not sleep that night. Daniel stayed on the phone with me until morning. At about 5:30 a.m., the knocking stopped. When I finally found the courage to open the door, nobody was there. Only a small red rose lay on the floor, with a note attached: “I MISSED YOU.” Daniel arrived around 8 a.m. I showed him the rose and told him the person at my door looked exactly like him. His face changed. Before he could explain, three knocks came at the door. Then an unknown number sent me a message: “YOU SHOULDN’T HAVE LET HIM IN.” A second message followed: “HE IS NOT THE ONE YOU SHOULD FEAR.”
