Commercial Boda Rider Stabbed to Death, Bike Stolen in Mangu, Plateau State
Troops from Operation Enduring Peace recovered the body of a 27-year-old commercial motorcyclist in Mangu Local Government Area of Plateau State. Security sources say the corpse was found around 6:15 a.m. on June 30 between Angwan Baraya and Sagani villages. The victim’s body bore multiple machete cuts. Investigators used the victim’s phone to contact his father, who identified him as Haruna Muhammadu of Changal Village. He had just purchased a new motorcycle before suspected snatchers attacked and fled with the bike. Police evacuated the body for family burial. Authorities are tracking down the suspects and urged anyone with information to come forward to help curb violent crime.
