Shamirah Nabadda to Officiate Flamingos’ Crucial U-17 WWCQ Play-off in Benin
CAF has named Ugandan referee Shamirah Nabadda to take charge of Saturday’s second-leg U-17 Women’s World Cup final qualifier between Benin Republic and Nigeria’s Flamingos. Assisting Nabadda will be Fanta Idrissa Kone from Mali and Burundi’s Fides Bangurambona, with Josephine Nantongo of Uganda as reserve referee. The match commissioner is Aissata Ameyo of Togo, while Senegal’s Fatou Gaye will assess the officials. The Flamingos hold a narrow 3-2 lead from last weekend’s first leg at Ikenne. Akeem Busari’s squad arrived in Lomé on Friday and are ready for the decisive fixture. The aggregate winner will qualify for the 2026 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup in Morocco.
