Nigeria’s Ambassador to Poland, Margareta Mary Obi, visited the Falconets after their 2-0 opening defeat to Spain at the 2026 FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup in Sosnowiec. She encouraged the players and technical crew to put the loss behind them and stay confident ahead of their decisive Group F match against China. The ambassador also brought Nigerian food for the team as a reminder of home. China lead the group after a 5-0 win over New Caledonia, while Nigeria need a strong response to keep their hopes alive. Coach Moses Aduku says the Falconets have moved on from the Spain defeat and are ready to come out stronger.
