Peace FC All Stars of Awka have reached the quarterfinals of the 2026 Chakapain Anambra State All Stars Competition after a 1-0 win over defending champions Fegge All Stars. Nnamdi Collins Obi scored the decisive goal in the 86th minute at Awka City Stadium on Sunday, 30 August. The late strike ended Fegge’s title defence and sent Peace FC into the last eight. Peace FC officials praised the players’ resilience but said the team remains focused on taking the competition one match at a time. Quarterfinal fixtures are expected to continue this week.
