God values character as much as spiritual gifts. As power, influence and recognition grow, love, purity, humility and integrity must grow too. The examples of Samson, Gehazi and Judas show the danger of gifts without character. Spiritual ability may open doors, but character helps a person remain faithful after the door has opened. Not every revelation should be announced immediately. Walk in wisdom, seek counsel and allow God’s timing to guide you. Pray for the grace to remain humble, disciplined and focused while pursuing spiritual growth.
