25 Killed as Nigerian Air Force ATR 42 Aircraft Crashes in Ondo

The Nigerian Air Force says all 25 people aboard its ATR 42 aircraft, NAF 931, died after it crashed in the Igbokoda area of Ondo State. The aircraft was travelling from Benin to Lagos on a routine mission. Those onboard included five crew members and 20 passengers. Search-and-rescue operations were activated immediately, but no survivors were found. The Chief of Air Staff has directed a comprehensive investigation into the cause of the crash. The Air Force says it will support the bereaved families and provide verified updates as the investigation continues.
