B-Red Survives Assassination Attempt by Suspected Political Thugs in Osogbo

Nigerian singer Adebayo Adeleke, professionally known as B-Red, narrowly escaped an assassination attempt in Osogbo on April 29. He was driving near Alekuwodo market around 3:30 PM when motorbike riders wearing AMBO caps surrounded his vehicle at a traffic point under the Okefia Bridge. A white Toyota Venza then joined the scene. Someone shouted his name as the vehicle tried to block his jeep. The chase continued until he reached the gate of the Osun State Government House. B-Red identified one suspect as Asiri Eniba, a notorious political thug. The incident has been reported to police, and the state government has demanded the suspect’s immediate arrest and prosecution.
