Three Killed in Deadly Cult Clash in Makurdi

At least three people were killed in a clash between rival cult groups in the Agwan Jukun area of Makurdi, Benue State. The violence erupted around 8pm on Sunday and continued into the early hours of Monday, May 4, 2026. Residents fled their homes and closed their businesses as panic spread through the community.
