Jane Osigwe Beats Moroccan Opponent After Alleged Racist Encounter in Casablanca
Nigerian MMA fighter Jane “The Slayer” Osigwe said she experienced a racist encounter after arriving in Casablanca, Morocco, for the PFL Africa event on 10 October 2026. In a video recorded before her fight, Osigwe alleged that a man spat in front of her and stared at her in a threatening manner. She said the incident showed that bullying and racism were real concerns. Osigwe later faced Morocco’s Sanaa Mandar in a catchweight bout at the Mohammed V Sports Complex. She won by unanimous decision after three rounds, with judges scoring the contest 29-28, 29-28 and 29-27.
