A Prayer of Thanksgiving for the Hope of Advent
Father, You are the God of hope and love. Thank You for sending Jesus Christ so that we may receive forgiveness, peace and renewed fellowship with You. Thank You for the joy and hope that Advent brings to everyone who trusts in Him. May the good news of Christ fill our hearts with perfect peace and confidence in Your promises. Lord, we praise You for the hope, love and peace given to humanity through Jesus Christ. As we await His return, may our lives bring glory to His name throughout the coming year. Amen. “Let us enter His presence with thanksgiving; let us shout triumphantly to Him in song.” — Psalm 95:2
