Como Thrash Manchester United 4-1 as Pressure Mounts on Michael Carrick
Manchester United suffered a 4-1 Champions League defeat to Como at the Stadio Giuseppe Sinigaglia, extending their winless run to seven matches in all competitions. Nico Paz starred for Como, scoring in the second minute before setting up Anastasios Douvikas shortly after the break. Paz added his second after a defensive error, while Jacobo Ramón headed in Como’s fourth goal. Joshua Zirkzee scored a late consolation for United, but the result did little to ease concerns over the team’s form. Carrick apologised to the travelling supporters after the final whistle as pressure grows on his position.
