Tinubu Pledges Wider Digital Access and Support for Young Tech Founders
President Bola Tinubu says his administration plans to expand digital connectivity to underserved communities and support young Nigerians building technology-driven businesses. In his Independence Day address, Tinubu said improved internet access, job-relevant skills, infrastructure and finance would help young people participate more fully in the modern economy. He said the government wants to help Nigerian founders build globally competitive technology companies from within the country. The President also linked the plan to efforts to use gas resources to power industries and revive factories in major industrial centres.
