Former Al-Nassr player Fahd Al-Hraifi has criticised Kingsley Coman’s decision to shoot instead of passing to Cristiano Ronaldo during Al-Nassr’s 3-0 victory over Al-Diriyah. Ronaldo had opened the scoring and was well positioned during a later attack, but Coman chose to finish the move himself. Al-Hraifi said he would have played the pass to Ronaldo. He added that Coman may have been trying to prove himself in the league, trusted his own finishing, or believed Ronaldo was offside. The former player nevertheless maintained that passing was the better option.
