Kaduna Troops Rescue Five Kidnapping Victims, Search Ongoing for Two Others
Troops under Operation Enduring Peace carried out a successful rescue in Sanga Local Government Area of Kaduna State. At around 6:15 a.m., soldiers on patrol discovered a vehicle abandoned at Ungwan Gora village and immediately launched a search in nearby bushes. The operation freed five captives — Moses Samuel (24), Samuel Timothy (20), Godwin Audu (14), Mohammed Mustapha (20) and Mohammed Sale (26). Two of the rescued victims were treated for injuries at the General Hospital in Gwantu. Military authorities say two passengers remain missing and have intensified their search efforts. This mission forms part of ongoing security operations to combat kidnapping and criminal activities along major highways and rural communities.
