Anambra Begins Mandatory Registration and Certification for Sports Personnel
The Anambra State Government has launched a mandatory registration, retraining and certification exercise for sports instructors, coaches, officers and administrators across the state. Registration forms will be available on September 29 and 30 at the headquarters of all 21 local government areas. Sports Desk Officers will guide applicants and receive completed forms. Participants will attend refresher training on coaching, sports administration, safety, first aid, anti-doping, safeguarding and ethics. Successful participants will receive ministry certification, which will become a requirement for practice in public institutions and sports facilities. Training and certification sessions will hold in Awka, Onitsha and Aguata for the three senatorial zones.
